Blog Update: July 2025

It's been a while since I gave a good update on what I am working on and any current event that should be noted. I have a lot of ideas I would love to get through but sometimes I lack the time or motivation to actually get into action. Lots have happened over the month which caused me to lack on my blog. I created this space So I can share stories, and craft Ideas and all my artwork all under one roof. Uploading photos can be time consuming and I am hoping that in the future getting a new laptop or tablet will help with those days I do not feel like sitting at a desk. Who knew desks were so uncomfortable.

My goal has always been to write at least once a week writing with each week being a different topic. As an artist who shares their artwork online, I think learning new techniques should be free and not behind a pay wall. Growing up I found it hard to find free resources to learn to crochet and do art. I was inspired by my community, specifically the Latino community, who don't resource guard and are willing to share their tips and tricks to help others gain money. I find that admirable and hope to be more like them one day. So far, I only have three free crochet projects you can find on my site. Clicking the picture will lead you to the specific blog posts.

I've reopened my Etsy shop for custom orders and to hopefully sell some artwork that has been laying around in my room. I would like to make room for different kinds of artwork, so I am holding a sale on my Etsy Shop. I am still working on uploading more work, but if you would like to support me Etsy is an option. I am also receiving requests on my Ko-fi account.

If you haven't checked out my comic, I've been writing I post about every two months. It used to be on a schedule but now it's anytime I have time. Talk about writer's block... I think I have drawing block. There is a wall in between me and the canvas. I know what I want to draw but when I stare at the blank canvas all my ideas and thoughts seem to fade away. They keep running away from me...

Other Blog Updates

I'm still learning what I means to be an artist on the internet. Sharing my art has led me to be a micro social media influencer, as they say. So much thought goes into how you present yourself and what you post. I am working free labor just to get my artwork out there. There are many different methods to gaining exposure and I am still trying to figure out the best route for me. I don't plan to make it big, but I hope I can at least make an impact on someone's life. Thanks for reading this Blog update.
